Cure Halitosis Is Great But Why Have I Got Bad Breath?

Bad breath (Halitosis) is widespread and quite common amongst both men and women.Like most people there have probably been occasions when you have noticed some one who has halitosis (bad breath) and discretely edged away or behind them.

But just think how would you feel if it was you that had bad breath and it was you that people were subtly avoiding you.

But how can you know if your breath is smelling unpleasant?

Well it might suprize you there are a few simple ways that you can easily tell if you have got bad breath without having to ask your partner but here's a hint if you a currently single and girls or guys shy away from you it might not be your personality that is lacking it could be your breath is putting them off.

Try this simple bad breath(Halitosis) test:

Lick the inside of your wrist and wait about 5 seconds of so. Now sniff your wrist. If the smell makes you feel yukky, chances are your breath smells just the same. That wasn't hard was it.As an alternative you could ask a friend or partner but tell them to be brutally honest as most people don't like passing on critisisms or bad news.

What causes bad breath?

· Not enough water in your body, dehydration.

· Gum or tooth problems/ disease (gingivitis)

· Intestinal/ stomach disorders, yeast infection

· Use of medications

· Stress

. Food and Drink

. Ketosis (the breath smell sweet but is a

Cures and Solutions for Halitosis

1. Drink more fluids especially water. It's quite common for people not to drink enough water and this is probably the easiest

way of reducing your risk of having bad breath. I strongly recommend you try and drink between 8-10 (10oz) glasses of water daily over the whole day.

2. Food and Drink are a common culprit of your breath smelling and to some this might be bad breath or at very least a little offensive. Drinks like coffee and tea can linger on the breath as an some spicy foods and we all know abut garlic.

Usually this doesn't cause bad breath as such and what most people who do have a upleasant odour to their breath do is just simply brush or floss using a fresh breath tooth paste.

If you have a problem with food you could use a drop or two of Oil or Oregano in water as a mouth wash or on your toothbrush. Another good alternative is to use Clove Oil both of which have anti bacterial and anti viral properties.

3. For digestive issus should see your doctor. But for mild problems such as GERD and acid reflux, take probiotics in the form acidophilus or kefir you can find these in some sorts of yoghurt's.

If you problems persist you should speak to your doctor as many digesitive problems can be an underlying sign of more serious illnesses.

Many gastric problems are related to stress so try and find a few minutes each day to relax or meditate it could work wonders.

4. Eat raw parsley, chew on anise seed or cardamom, nutmeg or fennel - they're natural breath fresheners that don't just mask odors, but actually freshen the breath.

They may taste a little strange but most of these are used in the commerical breath freshing products available.

5. Eat at least 5 portions of vegetables, fruit a day and stick to whole grains and avoid refined or white flour products like white bread and pastas, as well as sugared juices and sodas.

5. You may have an undetected yeast infection which is far more common than you might imagine. You can very quickly establish if you have yeast/candida overgrowth with a home test kit.

7. Empty your bowels regularly. In an ideal world try to have three bowel movements a day. If you find you are a little constipated try prunce juice as it acts as a natural laxative.

You could also try a mild colon cleanser as this could help your bowel to become healthier and more regular. If at all concerned speak to your doctor as this can lead to dehydration and loss of appetite as well.

Remember - fresh, clean fresh breath is a reflection of good health, and health is an ongoing process so daily maintenance of your body is important to keep that.

Stick with any changes you make nothing works instantly and if you find something is working keep with it other wise the problem of halitosis can reoccur a I found this great website for information on halitosis hope you find it helpful.
